Kids In The Kitchen: Make A Themed Menu

December 10th, 2015

Weekly menu planning can seem like a task…with most menus feeling uninspired and routine. So, why not spice it up a little by making a themed event out of family dinner? This week, we challenge you to get creative and make a themed menu — which is just another great way kids can have a big impact in the kitchen without having to prepare any food.

One of Sabrina’s favorite ways to build a menu is by spinning a globe, stopping it with her finger, and gathering menu inspiration from whichever destination she lands on — and she’ll tell you she wishes for France every time! Another idea is to create an entire menu based off a color. There are endless spaces to draw creativity from, so let your kids’ minds run free and see what they come up with! And don’t forget to share your stories with us by using #BillionDinners or sending them directly to us at Bon appétit!
